User Data Deletion
Last updated: July 5, 2026
You can ask us to delete personal data we hold about you in connection with .stack. This page explains how. For general privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.
What we delete
When you request deletion, we remove or anonymise personal data linked to your account, including:
- Your name, email address and profile details
- Your login credentials and session data
- Workspace membership and personal preferences
- Support correspondence tied to your identity
Workspace content you created (projects, CRM records, messages and similar) may remain if other members still need it, but it will no longer be attributed to you personally once your account is removed.
How to request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your account at hello@dotstack.io with the subject line Data deletion request. Include the email you use to sign in so we can verify ownership.
If you signed in with a third-party provider (for example Facebook or Google), you can also remove .stack's access from that provider's app settings. That stops future data sharing, but it does not by itself delete data we already store — email us if you want that removed too.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt within a few business days.
- We verify the request comes from the account holder.
- We delete eligible data within 30 days, unless we must keep specific records for legal or billing reasons.
- We email you when deletion is complete.
Data we may retain
We may keep minimal records where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or complete open billing. Any retained data is limited to what is necessary and is not used for other purposes.
