What we collect

• Account information. Name, work email, password (stored hashed), workspace membership and profile details you provide when you sign up or are invited.
• Workspace data. Business content you create or connect in .stack, such as projects, CRM records, messages, files and settings.
• Usage data. How you use the platform (pages viewed, actions taken, errors) to operate, secure and improve the service.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, device information and standard server logs.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain and secure your account and workspace.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
• To process billing and fulfil our contract with you.
• To improve reliability, fix bugs and develop new features.

We do not sell your personal data.

AI features

Some .stack features use AI to draft content, summarise information or assist with tasks. When you use those features, relevant workspace content may be sent to our AI providers to generate a response. We use this data only to deliver the feature you requested, not to train public models on your private workspace data unless you explicitly agree otherwise.

Where your data lives

Account and workspace data are stored in managed cloud infrastructure, including a Postgres database (Neon) and hosting on Vercel. Email and notifications may be sent through Resend. Each provider processes data on our behalf under their own data-processing terms.

Cookies and visits to dotstack.io

We use one essential cookie to remember your cookie choice and, for signed-in users, cookies that keep you signed in. Everything else waits for your choice in the cookie banner.

• Analytics (with your consent). A first-party cookie with a random id lets us see which pages and sections are read, which buttons are clicked and whether you come back. Our server also records the country, region and city your connection comes from, your browser, and the organisation behind your network address, so we can tell which companies visit. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers.
• Marketing (with your consent). The Meta pixel, so our ads reach people who are likely to be interested. Meta processes this data under its own terms.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing the stk_consent cookie in your browser.

When you give us your email on dotstack.io

When you ask for the free demo, start the demo or ask for a plan, we save your email, name and company in our CRM so we can deliver what you asked for. If you accepted analytics cookies, your earlier visits are linked to your email so we understand what you are interested in.

• Personal follow-up.If you asked for a plan, or ticked that Anton may email you, a person at Stellar may email you personally, in Swedish or English, to help and to suggest a short call. Drafts can be written with the help of AI, and a person reads and approves every email before it is sent. We send at most three emails you did not reply to. Reply “stop” and you get no more.
• Public professional information. To make the follow-up relevant, we look up public business information about your company and your professional role, for example on your company website and your public LinkedIn profile, through a data provider. We never collect private details. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry, and you can object at any time.

How long we keep it

Website visit data is deleted automatically after about 13 months. What you gave us as a lead stays in our CRM while the conversation is relevant, and we delete it when you ask.

We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your data when you close your account, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email us. We respond within a few business days.
